FAMILY DAY 2023

 FAMILY DAY                 Fam Day '23 would be my last family day as a junior high school student in ACT so I did make sure that I'll enjoy it no matter what and guess what.. I did! With my Family and my Friends being there felt so special, chit chatting with my Mama and Papa was kind of new to me but felt so good.                This Years Family Day was unusual than those past years, because this year, my father came to my Family Day. He usually don't go to any of my school events because he is busy with work but having him and Mama beside me on those moments felt unreal. I did not expect them to really watch our "Dance Palabas" that we've been preparing and practicing  for more than a week.. I was embarrassed when I saw them on the crowd while we are dancing and acting like zombies since our dance theme was " All of us are Dead" 😆 Anyway... after all the presentations.. INTRAMURALS 2023

    INTRAMURALS 2023             2023's intramurals were a blast! I learn a lot of lessons from it along the way. I become competitive when I put my heart into playing, perhaps because I have the mentality that I don't want to squander anyone's energy? simply allow the game to end in a loss? Before the Intramural Preliminary games, I was thinking exactly that. But as I previously stated, it teaches me a lot of lessons along the way, one of which is humility and accepting defeat with the knowledge that whether I win or lose the game, my teammates and I did our best. Playing or taking part in the following sports—volleyball, basketball, larong pinoy, and dance palabas—allows me to connect with new people and establish friends with students from other grade levels, which is something I definitely didn't expect. When others ask me how I am or I describe myself, I think of myself as a pretty boring student who doesn't know how to start or conclude a conversation. However

MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

WHAT IS MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY? Macro photography is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size. It was the flower pen that grabbed our attention and aroused our curiosity, like this photo we are taking. Indeed, macro photography helps people see things and possibilities that other people can't see. PROCESS OF EDITING We took a photo of a flower close to a white wall for a clear background . Removed the white wall and filled it in with a white brush, enlarge the flower to cover a larger part of the photo. After adding a blur effect to the edges, we then proceeded to change the color of the flower and changed a few more details such as adding a vignette and altering the brightness and contrast.         Online classes are a very exhausting type of learning. It may help some students to learn and study well, but in my case, it's giving me the whole opposite effect. Losing interest, doubting myself and the things I preferred to do before are now out of my vision when talking about being productive. Could feel like you're being an outcast in the real world. That journey of mine 2 years ago was definitely not easy; it was tiring. Maybe somehow you can call that laziness, and laziness really hit me so hard. I am lazy about everything, always tired and complaining when doing something, especially doing schoolwork. Based on what I've observed, online learning has helped a lot of students to still learn, I thank the teachers for that, but because of the COVID-19 which forced the Department of Education to implement online classes has also increased student's anxiety, particularly when socializing, which plays a significant role in life.
